Every pupil in Primary 4 is given the opportunity to learn how to play the recorder.
The beginner`s group meet every Tuesday from 12.50pm - 1.15pm.
The emphasis is on fun, but the pupils do learn how to read music which will help them if they wish to take part in different musical activities.
The advanced group is made up of pupils from Primary 5 - Primary 7. This group meets every Monday at lunch time.
They play their recorders during weekly hymn practices and school assemblies.
Mrs Crawford teaches both groups.
